1. Connolly and cars have a?history

Connolly has strong ties to the auto industry, having supplied leather to its crème de la crème including Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, Ferrari and Maserati. The brand’s leather was also used for the seats in the iconic Spitfire fighter during the Second World?War.

2. The royals are?fans

Connolly has its own Royal Warrant, having been appointed Leather Tanners and Curriers to Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen Elizabeth 2 ocean liner also favoured the use of Connolly?leather.

3. “Connollising” became a thing in the leather?industry

The brand also sells leather-care products, and within this industry, the term “Connollising” is often used to describe the restoration of leather items, as the company’s technique for doing so is second to?none.

4. They have kudos in the interiors?world

Mies Van Der Rohe's original Barcelona chairs were upholstered with Connolly leather. The benches in Britain’s Houses of Parliament, along with many other parliaments around the world, are also made using the brand’s faultless?form.

5. They’ve collaborated with?tokyobike

Connolly recently teamed up with the cult-loved independent Japanese brand tokyobike, on an exclusive bicycle finished with handles and seats using their luxury?leather. There’s only three in the world — all which are exclusively available through Lane?Crawford.

One of the very limited edition Connolly x tokyobike will go on sale at Lane?Crawford ifc mall on October 18, second one will be up for grabs through an Instagram giveaway between October 18 and October 21 (check @lanecrawford for details). The third can be won through an in-store competition running between October 23 and November 13, with purchase of HK$4,800 on men’s footwear and accessories needed for?eligibly.
